Delhi to Ayodhya — FAQs
Ayodhya is around 670 km from Delhi, roughly 10 to 12 hours by road — we don't recommend attempting this as a same-day round trip. A halt en route or a multi-day plan is far more comfortable.
Most drivers take the Yamuna Expressway toward Agra, then continue via Kanpur and Lucknow — a route with reasonable rest stops along the way.
Many riders drive out and fly back from Ayodhya Airport (Maharishi Valmiki International Airport), which cuts the trip's total travel time roughly in half.
